Clarence Singleton

FDNY

Clarence Singleton is a retired FDNY firefighter, U.S. Marine veteran, and Purple Heart recipient. After retiring from the FDNY in 2000, Singleton was compelled to don his firefighter uniform and volunteer for duty again on September 11, 2001. He was seriously injured when the South Tower collapsed, yet made his way back to Ground Zero to help after being treated at a nearby hospital.


Since 9/11, he’s suffered from extensive injuries and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), yet also channels his experience as an accomplished motivational speaker and author.
