Jared Ring

Jared Ring is a paramedic who responded to 9/11 with his team at MetroCare EMS in a matter of minutes. Jared remained on-site at Ground Zero for several weeks and assisted with recovery efforts until April 30, 2002.

In addition to his work as a paramedic, Jared is also a citywide duty inspector for a public safety team—donating his time in memory of fellow paramedic and 9/11 responder Steve Zakheim, who has since passed away from cancer.
