Robert Carbone

FDNY

Robert Carbone is a retired FDNY firefighter. He started his career with the FDNY in 1999, assigned to E-7 L-1 in downtown Manhattan. Robert had the proud honor of working with members of the department in the rescue and recovery efforts of 9/11, and in the years following, spent 18 years in Manhattan before finishing his career as a lieutenant on Staten Island. 


In 2020, he was diagnosed with metastatic testicular cancer, which is now in remission after treatment and multiple surgeries.
